Have you ever seen someone in another car at a stop light jamming away on their air guitar or their invisible microphone? Now the chances of them doing that to silence are slim to none, but just because you can't hear the music doesn't mean it isn't there.
Another more common example is that of the rising sun, but that one is easy, it happens every single day. But what if there was one year straight of cloudy days where you never saw the sun? Would there be those who start to question if they'll ever see it again?
Sometimes life feels like that year straight (or multiple years) of cloudy days, and the clouds of life are shielding us from the joy each ray of sunshine brings. It is interesting to think, though, that while your life may be darkened in grief, someone somewhere else is experiencing the brightest joys of their life, or vice versa. On the day of your wedding, or the birth of your first child, someone else lost a loved one unexpectedly or received a devastating cancer diagnosis. All things, good and bad, are happening in the same world at the same time.
